Where Performance Becomes Purpose

Vision & purpose

The Enso Project is an independent, community-led initiative that raises money for local charities through live performance.

01

Purpose

We convert live performances into direct, transparent support for local charitable causes — starting with small-scale close-up events and street fundraising, with funds passed straight to the charities we work with.

02

Method

We fundraise through live public engagement — close-up magic, street performance and small community events — with fundraising built naturally into the performance, so it feels informal, accessible and engaging rather than transactional.

03

Fund distribution

Every donation is collected transparently, tracked in full, and passed on with no deductions or administration fees. An independent Grants Panel of trusted community members reviews applications and allocates funds based on local impact, demonstrated need and transparency.

04

Current structure

The Enso Project is currently led by its founder. As it grows, trusted collaborators will join to help with events, performances and administration, with more formal governance introduced if and when it's needed.

05

Long-term vision

To become a sustainable network of performers using live art to support local charities — potentially, in time, as a registered charity. For now, the focus stays on action, transparency and community engagement.

06

Principles

We're guided by transparency in all fundraising, full transfer of funds to charitable causes, respect for audiences and venues, and simplicity and accessibility for future contributors.

How it works

A simple path from effort to impact.

First

Perform

Performers raise money for the fund through live events — close-up magic, street performance and community appearances.

Then

Safeguard

Funds raised are held in a dedicated account managed by independent trustees, who protect the money and keep it fully accounted for.

Annually

Grant

Once a year, an independent Grants Panel reviews applications and decides which local charities receive support, with funds released in full.
